GP Investments, Inc., was created by Great Plains Communications to fulfill the strategic goal to invest in companies that provide diversification to complement the core communications businesses that have been successfully operated for over 100 years. We consider opportunities to invest in a variety of businesses at all stages of growth, including:

• Acquiring a majority stake or influential minority position
• Providing equity or debt capital for expansion
• Working with a talented management team to fund acquisitions
• Recapitalizing a business to provide liquidity to existing investors and lenders

We invest at reasonable valuations and use moderate-to-low leverage. This gives us the ability to thoughtfully and patiently grow and improve businesses through all types of economic cycles. We require that management have a stake in the business, and our investment returns are generated from working as a team to build fundamentally sound entities through growth and improvement.
